Add a Garmin inReach Device to Your Account

  1. Log into your Adiona Alert account .

  2. From the Dashboard, open the Devices page.

  3. Once the Devices page is open, you will see all devices currently associated with your account. Select the "New Device" button to add a device to your account.

  4. The New Device dialogue will allow you to enter the required details into your account.

  5. Enter a device name, device nickname, and device description. These fields will allow you to identify each device correctly when managing your account.

    If you include a device nickname, the nickname will be used in the text of any alert we send you. This is useful when you have more than one device or fixed location.

  6. Select Garmin Recreational as your account service provider. Once you have selected your service provider, you will see the additional information required for our service to work with your device.

  7. Enter the IMEI number for your Garmin device in the IMEI field.

  8. Select the model of your inReach device from the dropdown list.

  9. Please enter the details that will provide us access to your inReach KML feed by entering the full KML feed URL from your Garmin inReach Explore account and the password you created for your MapShare KML feed.

  10. Check the box “Use the Garmin Messenger app” if you have created and are using a Garmin Messenger app account.

  11. Now press the "Add New Device" button, and you will return to our Device page.
