Our service requires that you have location tracking enabled so we can monitor your location as your device updates it.

Our service works best with inReach subscriptions other than the Basic or Safety Plan. A Basic or Safety Subscription only allows location tracking at a fee of $0.10 per update (it is free in the other plans).

A safety plan also limits the number of free messages you can send or receive to 10 (additional messages will cost you extra) and receiving one of our alerts will count as one message.

We recommend at least a Recreation or Advanced subscription to get the most out of your inReach and the location-based alerts we send to your device.
