The moment you realize that your service is about to be reviewed for the first time is both exhilarating and terrifying! And after over two years of research and development, including nearly a year of working with our early users, we were ready … probably.

Cris Hazzard, better known as HikingGuy, is a professional outdoors guide, hiking expert, outdoor technology geek, and author based in Southern California. He is the most trusted and knowledgeable YouTube creator producing informative videos and guides about personal satellite communicators, with loyal followers worldwide. Best of all, he tells it how it is – even if he knows his opinion will ruffle feathers at the company for the product or service he reviews. He is not a sponsored content creator who parrots a company’s marketing “copy” in exchange for a payment or free product.

We reached out to him and asked him to try our service, and we were thrilled when he agreed to review it and share his opinion with his community. But it also felt like being on a trapeze without a net.

So, what does he think?

We don’t want to speak for him, so you should really watch his review video.

But we can’t help ourselves, so here are a few quotes that we could not be prouder of:

“... worth the money as a safety feature...”

“... seems like it’s something that should have been there already...”

“That’s Adiona Alert; it’s pretty exciting.”

If you want a source for the best, most current information about the outdoors safety, personal satellite communicators, and excellent hiking guides, you should visit and subscribe to his YouTube channel. Some of his videos explore the features and functionality of various devices, and compares ZOLEO, Garmin inReach, or other devices, allowing you to make the most of the device you already have. And, if you don't already have a device, he has great advice on which one to get.

Thanks, Cris, for a great review and for producing such important content!
